| The Stafford Railway Collectors Fair is the premier UK event for the purchase of all types of railway related paperwork and books. All the leading railway booksellers and traders attend along with many private dealers. This is the only event in the UK where you will be able to purchase from such a large range of railway related books, timetables, ephemera, guides, maps, tickets, luggage labels, official publications and much much more. Material produced for internal railway use is also well catered for with working timetables, signalling notices and rule books for sale. |
Many leading dealers in postcards and photographs attend, together
offering hundreds of thousands of these collectable items.
Small railway relics, such as, badges, buttons, whistles
and other railwayana are also on sale.
For those travelling by train a free bus operates to and from Stafford
Railway Station at approximately 20 minute intervals from 09:30 until 15:45, apart
from a short break for lunch. This
is a 25-seater bus operated by Leons. If you or your wife/husband/partner
wish to use this service to travel from the hall to Stafford for shopping
etc you are welcome to do so.
For those travelling by car the hall is 3 miles from the M6 junctions
13 or 14. A large free car park is available. St
Leonards Avenue is off the A34 Stafford to Cannock/Rugeley road. After
leaving the town's ring road on the A34 cross one set of traffic lights
and St Leonards Avenue is a few hundred yards on the left. The hall is
at the end of the road. The event will be signed from the A34.
Sandwiches and light meals will be available and a bar will
be open.
