| Following on from the success of our 2010 event at Bristol we have re-booked the new school hall for the 2011 Collectors' Fair. Our booking in 2010 was the first external use of the new school and those who visited will know there were a few teething problems. We are confident that these will be resolved by 2011 and chips will be back on the menu!! Also, the old school building will have been converted into parking and sports pitches so the walk from Parkway Station will be much shorter; you will not have to walk around a demolition site. |
Like Stafford the emphasis at Bristol is on books, photographs, official
publications and ephemera though at Bristol there will be a higher
percentage of dealers in other railway related collectables.
For those travelling by rail Bristol Parkway Station is a few minutes
away. Leave the station and walk down the slope to the main road. Turn
left under the railway bridge. You will see a traffic light controlled
crossing ahead. Cross the road on this crossing and continue walking away from the station.
The school is ahead and to the right.
For those travelling by car follow the signs from the M4 junction 19
to Bristol
Parkway Station. The school is less than 3 miles from the M4 and
will be signed. Plenty of free parking is available, follow the signs.
Light refreshments will be available.
