| Those who visited in September 2009 may have noticed that Filton High School, our home in Bristol for the past 12 events, is being replaced. A new school is being built in the grounds of Filton High School and will be ready for our fair in September 2010. The new school also has a new name Abbeywood Community School. Further information about the new school building will appear here in August 2010. |
Like Stafford the emphasis at Bristol is on books, photographs, official
publications and ephemera though at Bristol there will be a higher
percentage of dealers in other railway related collectables.
For those travelling by rail Bristol Parkway Station is a few minutes
away. Leave the station and walk down the slope to the main road. Turn
left under the railway bridge. You will see a traffic light controlled
crossing ahead. Cross the road on this crossing and the school is
ahead and to the left.
For those travelling by car follow the signs from the M4 junction 19
to Bristol
Parkway Station. The school is less than 3 miles from the M4 and
will be signed. Plenty of free parking is available, follow the signs.
Light refreshments will be available.
